Hippeastrum Orange Sovereign

060311 ~

This is suppose to be an orangy bloom....dark and rich right now....just wondering how she will turn out!

060211 ~

H. Orange Sovereign is slowly making her way out!  Nice rich colors showing so far!

052511 ~

It's getting just a little bit taller!

052311 ~

These scapes are nice and colorful....can't wait to see it bloom!

Hippeastrum Prelude

053111~

Most H. Preludes have more red coloring in the petals...but i think she is a beauty just the way she is!

052311 ~

I am hoping this turns out to be a pretty bloom.  The scape is kind of short and the blooms seem a bit small.  We will find out in the next day or two!

Hippeastrum Limona

052811 ~

We saw 8 blooms open at once on this awesome H. Limona!

052711 ~
A fabulous bloom...i couldn't stop taking pictures.....not sure if i was trying to get the right picture or if i just enjoyed taking the pictures!

052611 ~
Not too much of a change in Limona since yesterday!

052511 ~

Going to see some blooms soon!

052311 ~

Looks like 2 scapes are going to be blooming at nearly the same time!

Surprise....It's H. Dancing Queen...not H. Nymph

053111 ~

What a winner!!  Love this Hippie double!

052711 ~

Dancing Queen.....not Nymph!

This is another one of those...."sold to me as" .......

Although it is quite lovely.....i know want to run out and get a H. Nymph...here is a picture from today....

052611 ~
H. Nymph really wants to open up!!  I am a little concerned that she is facing downward in this next picture....I am hoping as she opens she will not be facing down.

In this next picture...i actually held the camera underneath the bloom....what a gorgeous flower!!  This photo was taken at the same time as the one directly above :)

052511 ~

This is one really large bloom....i am so excited about seeing her open...maybe tomorrow?

052311 ~

This beautiful double will be opening up very soon!
